Traveling

Passports need to be valid for at least another six months after the end of your trip. Your passport also should have at least one blank page.

Please ensure this is true for your passport ASAP, it is the attendees responsibility.

Yes, you do need a visa to enter Egypt. However, we have arranged everything for you! Upon arrival, a dedicated representative will be there to welcome you at the airport and assist you in obtaining your visa. We will cover the cost, so you can simply focus on your journey and enjoy a smooth arrival in Kemet.

Egypt doesn’t have any Covid restrictions at the moment. As of 17 June 2022, Egypt has lifted all COVID-19 restrictions on travelers coming into the country.

All foreign visitors and Egyptian citizens will enter without the need to show proof of vaccination or a negative PCR test.

IMPORTANT: It is your responsibility to check on the entry requirements for the country that you have a layover/transit.

While we do our best efforts to keep you updated, we highly encourage that you also do your own research regarding COVID-19 regulations in particular when it comes to special travel regulations in place for different countries. More information about the current Covid guidelines in Egypt can be found here.

At this moment, there are no rules and restrictions in place in Egypt for COVID-19 for social events.

It will be each individual’s responsibility to make sure they don’t have Covid.

If you present Covid symptoms or suspect that you may be ill, we will require you to stay in isolation, take a rapid Covid test, share results with the organizers and avoid contact with other people.

Please bring with you at least four covid tests for personal use.

Yes, travel insurance with medical coverage is required to attend the retreat. Your safety and well-being are our top priorities, and having travel insurance ensures you are protected in case of any unexpected situations. We highly recommend choosing a policy that includes medical coverage, trip cancellations, and Covid protection. While we will support you throughout your journey, we cannot assume responsibility for any issues that may arise without coverage.

Your international airfare to and from Cairo, Egypt, is not included in the retreat price. However, we are covering the domestic flights within Egypt, including Cairo to Aswan and Luxor to Cairo as part of your retreat experience.

We have arranged seamless airport transfers for you! Upon arrival in Cairo, a dedicated team member will be there to welcome you and assist with your visa, luggage and transfer to the hotel. Your departure transfer is also fully taken care of—just provide us with your flight details, and we’ll handle the rest.

We’ve got you covered! Closer to the retreat, we will send you a detailed packing list with everything you’ll need for this sacred journey. This list will include recommended clothing, essential items, and additional important information to help you prepare for an unforgettable experience in Kemet.

Due to the nature of retreat planning and our commitments to vendors, we kindly ask that you register only if you are certain you will be able to attend. All deposits are non-refundable, as we must secure your spot in advance.

Cancellations are non-refundable; however, if the retreat is rescheduled due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control (such as global regulations or other events preventing it from taking place on the original dates) and the new dates do not work for you, a refund or partial refund may be issued. Please allow up to 90 days for processing in such cases.

Yes, you can extend your stay before or after the retreat. Contact us, and we will provide options to book extra nights at the same accommodations at your own cost. We can also share a list of recommended activities for your additional days.

n November, Egypt experiences comfortable weather, with daytime highs around 77°F (25°C) and nighttime lows around 59°F (15°C). This is one of the best times to visit, as the temperatures are much cooler than the summer months. We recommend bringing a light jacket for the cooler evenings.
